Data Analytics Associate
Course Overview
The Jeremi College Data Analytics Associate Course is designed to prepare students for a new career in data analytics and business management. Jeremi College is a CompTIA Academy partner so this course combines the concept of databases with the CompTIA Data+ certification.
This course and its attendant Data+ certification is an ideal certification for both data-specific careers and other career paths that can benefit from analytics processes and data analytics knowledge. Jobs like marketing specialists, financial analysts, human resource analysts, or clinical health care analysts can optimize performance and make well-informed decisions when they use and evaluate data correctly.
The program’s duration is 600 clock hours split into two courses:
Database Concepts - Explore the world of information as your instructor guides you through basic and advanced principles of data
Data Analytics - Students will apply these theories in their practical laboratories where they will leverage insights from multiple data sources to solve problems and answer questions.
These courses prepare you to pass the COmpTIA Data+ certification exam before you graduate and help you walk right into your next career. CompTIA's report states that over 1 million job vacancies require core data skills such as data analysis, mining, and visualization, even beyond data-specific roles. The median annual income for careers in data analytics is $95,000, and with double the national estimated growth rate, data-related jobs are projected to be among the fastest-growing occupations.
