Position: Accountants
Location: Munster, IN
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
Manage QuickBooks and generate invoices for all clients.
Manage general ledgers and assist with preparing month-end and year-end closing processes.
Prepare financial statements and regulatory reporting documents.
Manage students’ financial aid processes, payments, and compliance.
Analyze financial reports and assist with audits and taxes.
Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.
Review and recommend modifications to accounting systems and procedures.
Technical Skills:
Preparing monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial reports to management;
Processing of invoices, Bank reconciliations, journal, and ledger extractions;
Processing of bank deposits;
Analyzing and interpreting financial reports;
Processing and management of payroll;
Knowledge of GAAP and its application to financial reporting;
Budgeting and forecasting of cash flow, revenue, and future costs;
Tax preparation and regulatory compliance.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field,
Plus 2 years of experience in Accounting required.
