Position: Accountants

Location: Munster, IN

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:  

  • Manage QuickBooks and generate invoices for all clients.

  • Manage general ledgers and assist with preparing month-end and year-end closing processes.

  • Prepare financial statements and regulatory reporting documents.

  • Manage students’ financial aid processes, payments, and compliance.

  • Analyze financial reports and assist with audits and taxes.

  • Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.

  • Review and recommend modifications to accounting systems and procedures.

  • Technical Skills:

    • Preparing monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial reports to management;

    • Processing of invoices, Bank reconciliations, journal, and ledger extractions;

    • Processing of bank deposits;

    • Analyzing and interpreting financial reports;

    • Processing and management of payroll;

    • Knowledge of GAAP and its application to financial reporting;

    • Budgeting and forecasting of cash flow, revenue, and future costs;

    • Tax preparation and regulatory compliance.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:  

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field,

  • Plus 2 years of experience in Accounting required.

  • Required Skills:

    • Processing of bank deposits;

    • Analyzing and interpreting financial reports;

    • 10% Telecommuting Permitted
